Mr. Walter advises clients on a wide range of commercial matters, ranging from asset sales and acquisitions, corporate restructuring, entity formation and structuring, legal strategy, corporate governance and a variety of special situations.  He has 25 years of experience helping clients with issues in the United States and overseas, having developed a wide network of local lawyers and a working understanding of legal systems around the world.      

Mr. Walter served for over a decade as General Counsel for a large holding company located in the Middle East with assets in hospitality, technology, restaurant franchising, manufacturing, shipping and logistics, and real estate.  In that role he oversaw the legal restructuring of more than $7 billion in liabilities and worked with the company’s Board and executive team to reorganize and rebuild the company and its legal function.
