Malick Joof is a Paralegal with extensive experience in contract drafting and negotiation, as well as trial and appellate practices. He earned his Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from the University of The Gambia, Faculty of Law, and a Master of Laws (LLM) degree from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law. Mr. Joof is currently preparing to sit for the New York State Bar Exam.
His professional background includes drafting and negotiating a wide range of agreements, supporting attorneys at all levels of litigation and transactions, and maintaining direct communication with clients and outside counsel. As an avid draftsman, Mr. Joof has drafted and filed trial and appellate pleadings before state courts, U.S. District Courts, the U.S. Courts of Appeals, and the Supreme Court of the United States.
Before joining NOVA Business Law Group, Mr. Joof served as a Contracts Paralegal at NYC Health and Hospitals, an Appellate Paralegal at the Children’s Law Center in D.C., and a Civil Rights Paralegal at the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR).
Outside of his professional work, Mr. Joof enjoys volunteering, playing soccer, fishing, cooking, and spending time with family and friends. He is also a professional tailor.
