Prior to joining the firm, Ms. McKenzie served as a federal contractor, specializing in information access and litigation, for agencies such as the U.S. Department of Agriculture, Department of Transportation, and the U.S. State Department.  In her previous role as a private attorney, she advised entrepreneurs and small businesses on entity formation, contracts and negotiated agreements, including work-for-hire, vendor and licensing agreements.  The blend of federal contracting and small business experience provides her with valuable insights into the intricacies involved in government contracting, enabling her to offer strategic guidance to clients at NOVA Business Law Group. 

Ms. McKenzie is a proud alumna of Howard University School of Law, where she received her Juris Doctor and Binghamton University, where she earned both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees.  In her free time, she enjoys being by the water and spending time with her friends and family.
